If there is no will the authority granted to administrators is called ‘Letters of Administration’. Together these are known as ‘Grants of Representation’.
A lasting power of attorney (LPA) is a legal document that lets you appoint one or more people (known as ‘attorneys’) to help with your financial decisions or to make decisions on your behalf.
